Kelly Clarkson has been a singer and songwriter in America for over 20 years. She won American Idol during the first season. This win catapulted Clarkson into notoriety and led to an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. Since then, she's made several studio albums, three of that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely did not make it to the top. Her name is among the biggest artists that come out of the American Idol series. To achieve her success she experimented with different genres of music and experimented with subjects. Due to her uniqueness and skill as a performer and songwriter, she received praise from reviewers and was awarded a couple of notable prizes. In particular, she has won the Grammy Award a record three times. Apart from her professional career in music, she's also seen on TV and in film. She is also the author of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charitable organisations.
