Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, who is an actress director, producer, playwright, teacher, and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of both a British father as well as an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. Anna appeared in numerous commercials as a kid. In November 1999, Anna moved to Toronto in order to further develop her acting career. She eventually shifting to Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged.
